  1. Just the Raiders cuz it was his team! of course the other teams care about him but it should just be the Raiders

  2. I don't kno about an entire PATCH on the jersey, but certainly a number sticker on the helmet. The Raiders org should definately have something on the jersey for him, multiple pro bowls, 2 championships, HOF status and longtime NFL exec. He meant a lot to all of pro football.

  3. League, if it wasn't for him, the owners would not be in profit sharing with the NFL players union.

And the Raiders should have a special one representing him and the Raiders, Like his old NUMBER

  4. Feel sure that it will be an NFL wide memorial patch.  In fact, I think the owners will encourage going that way because while Gene Upshaw was a strong negotiating opponent he was part of the NFL family. Unrelated but worthy of comment, I feel:  I think he was only diagnosed on the Sunday before his death.  Pancreatic cancer is the worst of the worst.  Lastly, I hope the young players appreciate what Upshaw and Players union has done for them.  The passage of time sometimes leads people forget.  The players who will take the field this season did not compete in Upshaw's playing career.

  5. It should be league wide since Mr. Upshaw represented all NFL players in the union.

  6. probably the league...

  7. Well in keeping with the NFL's Uniform Policy I'd guess only the Raiders. Sure ALL players should get to, but we know how the NFL applies it's rules(if you don't look back at when Tillman died).

  8. I'm sure the Raiders will, but it may not be league wide. Probably should be, but might not.
