Should the NRL lift the Salary Cap?

Im so tried of seeing teams losing their best players cause of this cheap cap..4.1 million is rubbish, the NRL makes 60m a year surely they can dispurse some of that to the clubs and lift the cap to something more respectable like 6-10m...You look at the bulldogs and how many players they have lost the last 5 years, and this year my own team the broncos, lost 5 internationals cause of this stupid cap!

I just think it should be a bit higher so teams can actually keep most of their club icons is a 2million increase in the cap too hard to ask for?!?

They certainly should let the Warriors pay Wade McKinnon without using up any of their salary cap as with his injury he will certainly not be in the playing roster in 2008.

Yeh 4 *** sake, i am still gutted Petro left. Alone with other great players from other clubs goin ova 2 England. Somthing has 2 b done. If not a big salery increase somthing else, it has been ripping stronger teams apart 4 yrs

I agree cos I am a Broncos fan. But, looking at the bigger picture I massively disagree.

Look at what the Cap has done for our game. Cronulla beat Manly last night, Rabbitohs are no longer the easybeats. This competition that we see now is much more competitive and I think we are all better off for it.

i definetly think they should increase the cap, being a broncos fan. i mean petero went to penrith for an extra 10 or 15 k (didnt do much good, we still snapped em today!).

if the nrl are refusing to do this, they should atleast make some rules, like in soccer their is a marquee player that does not come under the cap.

THERE SHOULD BE CONCESSIONS FOR LONG SERVING PLAYER ,IF NOT THEN THERE'S NO LOYALTY BECAUSE THE CLUB CANT KEEP THE PLAYER,A GOOD EXAMPLE WAS THE ROOSTER LAST GRAND FINAL TEAM,BECAUSE THEY WON THAT MEANT THAT MOST OF THE PLAYER COULD DEMAND MORE MONEY BUT IF THE CLUB IS ALREADY AT ITS CAP LIMIT THEN THE PLAYER WILL GO ELSEWHERE.
