I mean if the NZRU changes it eligibility rules for the Allblacks and if we are running low on rugby depth in the All black Squad.

  1. no all leagues should shut the door on sonny bill williams he betrayed his club whats to stop him doing it again if he gets away with it this time

  2. They might think about it but it will depend on the legalities in Australia at the moment.  If the NRL are successful he won't be available until he's 27 and that might be too old for the change in code.  It they are not successful but are able to put some sort of court order on him, he may not be able to travel into Australia or NZ without risking arrest.  Whatever happenings it's gonna be interesting.

  3. I agree with Michael i think there is a little more to it.I would love to see Sonny Bill play union if that's what he really wants to do-NZ rugby union even better..lol...although i do think the wallabies could do with a bit of SBW...after watching the Bledisloe cup test match tonight..lol.He is such an awesome player.I wish Sonny Bill Williams the very best for the future.

  4. I think Sonny Bill would be a great fullback for the ABs. He would be good in the centres too. The only reason why he left the Bulldogs is because he said he couldn't take it anymore and that he wanted out of all of that. You can't blame him for that. He wouldn't leave the ABs unexpectedly

  5. sonny is a great player and should not be stopped playing to the best of his ability , i know he walked out on the bulldogs i am a bulldogs supporter and was upset but i think there is more to this situation than meets the eye

  6. like any other player, he would need to join a club, firstly, then ,only  if good enough,he may get selected for the club`s top team,.

Then again ,if he plays well enough there, he may get selected for the provincial team and play in that competition.

Then ,if good enough , he may get picked for  a Super 14 team, and then maybe go on to become an All Black (only a dream for most )

Unlike  Aussie,in NZ  there are swags of equally talented players  and , they are already playing Rugby,

Sonny Bill may not make the grade.

Aussie have a few that switched codes,at huge cost to the ARU,and very few , have made the change sucessfully.

The media  build players up to be superstars, but  on the paddock they can be average......Look at Willy Mason, .....a prime example.
