  1. no they have enough gaurds

  2. I like the move. Get that St. Joe's backcourt back together along with Rashard and Dwight Howard? Straight up nasty.

  3. I don't think they should. He is an inconsistent player.Besides,West is also considering an offer from Europe (oh,there is a surprise).

  4. I would say Magic should consider to sign Delonte West in a sign-and-trade manner, should the price is reasonable.

So who should be packaged in the deal? JJ Redick - given he looks lost on the floor and his expiring rookie contract, it seems to be a good solution to cut loss, plus Cavs have the genuine to add another shooter.

To a certain extent, a backcourt of Jameer Nelson and West should have no problem, plus West can double up his duty as a backup PG - and certainly you have to bear the downside risk of West's inconsistency (so is Nelson).

West's presence does not hurt Mickael Pietrus playing time because he deserves to start as the primary defender, but again it is good to add more depth on wing, even with Keith Bogans stays.

After all it is sort of gamble, and my prediction is that West is unlikely to be a difference maker.

  5. Great suggestion! The only problem is that Delonte West is a starter. He can't play SG. And the Magic have Jameer Nelson. Delonte West won't do well as a backup, and he'll throw fits with Van Gundy. But West is a great player, but no a backup.

I can tell you're a magic fan. Go DWIGHT HOWARD. SUPERMAN!!!

    Cuz i live in ORLANDO

  6. they should sign someone to teach d howard some post moves.

  7. Yes I think they should if they get chance. Okay, sure Delonte's not the most consistent guy ever, but with the losses of combo guard Keyon Dooling and point guard Carlos Arroyo they do need a backup point guard. They currently have two point guards, starter Jameer Nelson and Anthony Johnson, who is not a quality backup. He's a third stringer.

Delonte will give you 6 to 8 points per game as a backup, he's reliable ball handler and he's a good shooter.
