Question:

Should the Packers....?

Aaron rodgers is no doubt their starting qb, but their back-ups are all rookies. Should they sign a free agent like Daunte Culpepper, Tim Rattay, Kelly Holcomb, Vinny Testaverde, or someone else to fill in that back-up spot. They need a good veteran to mentor, and train these young qb's. If Rodgers does get hurt then the packers are in serious trouble. Brian Brohm was a second round pick, but Matt Flynn the other rookie who was chosen in the seventh round has played better then Brohm. Was getting Brohm a mistake? Should the Packers settle for a veteran back-up, or wait until Rodgers get hurt, or something.

  1. They will sign one of those FA veterans only if Rodgers goes down with injury.  Otherwise, they will roll with what they have.

If you like fantasy football, then you might get a kick out of this too. It's a little different but it's simple and fun. At least try this. Just click on the link...

  2. They desperately need a veteran QB.

Rodgers has a lot of potential, but he is going to struggle a lot this season.  Who are they going to turn to if he gets hurt badly?  Brohm has looked terrible in preseason.  Flynn has looked better than Brohm.

  3. I think Rattay would be a good idea, he is good enough to get the job done but not so well known as to cause a controversy when Rodgers goes through his bad moments and struggles.

  4. I really hope they sign a veteran QB so in case Rodgers gets hurt they still have someone with experience.
