  2. Who's talking about her kids? Some are merely (and rightly, in my opinion) pointing out that Palin's decision to let hired help raise her disabled child is morally questionable, at best.

    Edit: HockeyFan, can you post even 1 link to someone bashing Palin's abandoned child? Just 1, please??

  3. Well, aren't the kids of candidates pretty much "off the table" anyway?

    I don't care if the family members (Michelle Obama, Chelsea Clinton etc) are helping in the campaign -- I say leave them all out of it. They're not running for office. Fight the candidates, not their kids, spouses, etc etc

    Children are not held accountable for their parents actions.

    I have seen where some people are attacking the infant child of Palin......wow, now that takes some kind of low life to do that.

  5. Without question, yes.  You can't compare minor children with an adult spouse.  Children of candidates should never become part of the political process and should only make appearances sporadically and at important events.  

  6. The "progressive" party has the ability to point out peoples problems without causing harm,that is why they are progressive.So if they chose to point out her alleged weakness (her special needs child) thay are only doing it for the "goodness" of our country.

    Personally all this progressive c**p is just that c**p.The Democratic party is a "win at all cost" party.If a handicapped child is in the way,under the bus they go.

  13. Yes I think that anyone's minor children should be off the table. I think that people should say what they want about the parents but leave the kids alone.

  16. Most definitely, minor children should NOT be open to appraisal during the election. I found it most sickening some of the comments that were made about Chelsea Clinton's appearance during the Clinton campaign and administration. Now, I will say, should the children's actions cross over the line to immoral and illegal, then the door is opened.

    That said, the fact that Palin has irresponsibly brought five children in to an overpopulated world, and chose to have a Down's syndrome child in spite of advance knowledge, should put into question her and her husband's judgement. Also, one has to question how a mother with this small of children can keep her focus on her position as vice-president.
