  1. Bring the same, why mess with a good thing?!?

    GO WINGS!!!

  2. They should do the same thing only better since their on the road.

  3. Why change, the Pengos have given them no reason too. As long as guys like Roberts keeps up the penalties, all they need to do is play their game.

  4. if it ain't broke don't fix it.   GO WINGS

  5. The only change might be is to bring back Chelios.  I hope the McCarty on the bench.  He takes too many dumb penalties.

  6. Babcock indicated after last night's game that he MAY re-insert Darren McCarty into the line-up but did not mention who would sit out.

He also said the earliest Chelios would be ready would be game 4.

  7. Absolutely no changes are necessary, what Detroit has been doing has been working for them and they need not risk their superiority by making changes. The Wings need to keep doing exactly what they are doing.

  8. If it is not broken why try to mess with it? I don't think there will be any major changes. But coaches always like to make a change just to make a change. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

  9. At this point, looks like bringing Osgood will be enough.

  10. If there are any changes, Babcock should throw either Downey or McCarty in to help enforce.  We don't need another cheap scrum at the end.

  11. You don't fix something that's not broken.  You keep Datsyuk, Holmstrom, and Zetterberg together.  You keep the hot goalie in net.  You keep old man Chelli as a healthy scratch.  He's only there for the ride and the Wings don't need him out there.

I see them winning it in 5. Typically the game to lose is the 3rd, so I see the Pens pulling out their first at home before losing 2 straight.  Wings hoist it in front of their home crowd.

  12. No changes. Keep doing what your doing boys and this will take care of itself, hopefully in 4, if not, no more than 5. The Wings are far superior and it shows. Why change a perfect team?

The Wings as good as they are never have to make these drastic changes. They are the class and model of the NHL. Thy are where the league wants to get. The Wings organization have this all figured out, and again it shows.

  13. No, because of the crowd and "electricity" supporting the Pittsburgh Penguins.

  14. Most of it should remain the same - it's working almost too well, and is a proven system.

I noticed, and the commentators drew attention to, how much manpower the Wings were dedicating to crowd out Crosby and/or Malkin, so reducing their effectiveness.  I don't know whether the Pens have time to adapt, but in theory they could use this as a decoy for a secondary scorer, as the Wings so often do.  It might be time for the tactic to evolve to keep 'em guessing!

    Go Wings.
