Yes. Although there are religious Democrats as well, but overall there's a big problem with religion being involved in politicans' decisions. Thus, we need more atheists in office, because they will use common sense/logic to determine their choices rather than the religious people, who use their book to choose the answer for them, causing suffering for everyone who isn't the mold of a "perfect Christian."
