  1. probably cause she was the only dem who had a chance of winning.

  2. Actually the republican party with their record breaking votes in open primaries who voted against Hillary (not for Obama) are the ones that caused Obama to get the nomination. That and the illegal caucus victories.

However, yes Hillary would have actually won the general election (Obama will lose by the largest margin in US Presidential history).

So, no republicans don't need to thank Obama, Obama needs to think the GOP for voting him into the nomination.

  3. In a sense.

Except he's every bit as bad, if not worse.

  4. thanks obama, sorry but your only reward will be enjoying the change that John McCain will make when he is President. But be happy obama, no new taxes with McCain. Under your tax plan, you would have gone broke paying your own taxes.

  5. Obama almost got his *** kicked.

  6. No, cause when he announces he will head the Universal Health care dept it is going to send another spike inthe polls. So don't underestimate Obama....McCain yes, underestimate him so you wont be so shocked by what he does.

  7. yes

I am so glad Obama got nominated.

Hillary is no longer a thorn in my side.

  8. No but Dems should thank Gov Palin for being the woman who stops McCain

  9. Not so fast because he will destroy Mc Cain and his side kick

  10. And I hope I can thank you for stopping Obama, Sarah.

  11. No I don't think they need to do that.  That would be like rubbing salt in old wounds to Hillary.  BTW, I am not a Republican or Democrat.

McCain said job well done meaning Obama is the first Black person in this day and age to receive the nomination for President.  Nothing more and nothing less.  McCain said what he meant.

  12. Actually, I do thank Obama for that.

  13. The American voters chose who they believe was the better candidate.

Question for Miss Alaska: How's it gonna feel to be runner-up for the second time? Hmmm?

    ; )

  14. She would have hammered McCain. She actually has the experience, and actual plans. Not a bunch of hope speeches, completely devoid of any real context.

  15. Obviously Hilary had a lesser chance to get in, because the Democrats already know that Bush has blown McCain's chances, so they wouldn't worry about stalling. That's why the Republicans try to hide Bush over the past few months, so that he doesn't spark peoples memories.

  16. I'll thank voters for stopping Obama.

  17. Why should the republicans thank him? Obama is just as big of a threat to McCain as Hillary, and Hillary and Obama are very close politically.
