  1. Anywhere would be better than Moorabbin, their rooms always appeared to be cheaply constructed .   hard to follow their logic, though, they wanted out of Moorabbin because council wouldn't allow them to increase their pokies , now at Frankston they wont have any at all ?

  2. umm, they already are - nothing we say or do will change that!

If Morabbin is such a $hit hole, then good on them for looking after their players and moving to a new complex.

At least they will be near the beach...just gotta ignore the ferrals roaming around...LOL

  3. Well they have to move somewhere coz the footy going population just doesn't live in St Kilda anymore, it's all lattes and syringes.  Might be fine for the Swans but the Saints need a real home :-)

It's surprised me for a long time that there's no team down south there.  I don't know the area that well but there seems to be a big population in that zone nowadays.  When you think about it at the moment, within about 5 ks of the CBD, you've got Richmond, Melbourne, Collingwood, Norta Melbourne, Hawthorn, Carlton & St Kilda (with Footasgray and Essendone not far away) and no-one lives there and 10 acres of land will cost a motza for your stadium.  Carlton and Collingwood can survive  through numbers, backing and history but the others will eventually have to at least move out into the population centres a bit.  Frankston's not as far to swim to a game as Launceston!

    Sad, I think but true.

  4. How many homes do they want.

  5. Well, I should imagine it would be far better than being based in Melbourne!

Plus, I think teams are starting to now realize that to win a premiership a team cannot be Melbourne based. Recent records show this!

I think WCE will bolt in - in 2008.

  6. If it makes the club more financially stable then it's a great move ........ the home ground doesn't change and they get to stay in Victoria due to stability financially
