Should the US provide military support to Georgia?

I don't understand this, the United States invaded Iraq to protect human rights and human life, but it's not showing any signs of giving military aide to a country that's an ally, that even provided personal military to the US in Iraq. So far, we've only heard words when it is clear that Russia is the aggressor. It makes you wonder if the US would do anything but talk, if Israel were defense less and was invaded in the same fashion.

When the real reasons for this war is clear, the US will push peace to either Russia or Georgia.

h**l no we shouldnt get involved with georgia but the US has a nasty habbit of sticking its nose where it doesnt belong.

if we get involved i have no doubts it will be WW3

just look at what happened in WWII, i mean i know history repeats itself but didnt we learn anything the first time!

yes the U.S will get involved especially after the Georgian president asked for more than aid, Kuwait asked for help immediately after Iraq invaded unlike them it took 4 days for his appeal for support. Now its just a matter of time until president Bush arrives back in Washington to confer with the joint chiefs of staff..
