Question:

Should the USA use selective breeding to create their very own Yao Ming?

The Chinese selective breeding/training program has been running for over 50 years and has produced such players as Yao Ming. Does this mean the USA should start selectively breeding players like Kobe Bryant/Kevin Garnett/Lebron James with the likes of Lauren Jackson/Lisa Leslie?

China may even start using clones of Yao Ming, should the USA clone Michael Jordan?

  1. Human clone technology is no where near possible right now, let alone practically applicable.

Where are you getting your information from?

And what are other examples of this "Chinese selective breeding program?"

  2. Yao Ming wasn't selectively breeded. He is just very tall and good at basketball.

Our own version is called Shaquille O'Neil.

  3. Heck no, thats just not fun. if China wants to breed there athletes, then by all means, creep us out. but i think its low for a country to attempt such a thing.

  4. Hitler tried, and failed.

a clone would be very difficult, since cloning people is not yet possible.

  5. Don't you have Phelps already?

  6. Heck no diversity is way better.
