Should the United Nations move to Europe now?

Question

When it was formed the US was the strongest element in the world economy......That was over fifty years ago....The Euro is the strongest currency now..why not move the UN to Europe?

The reason why the UN is stationed in the United States has nothing to do with its economic power.  Granted the EU is a much larger entity economically, that doesnt devalue the United States.  Ok, the Euro is beating the dollar, but it hasn't been on the market that long.  We should at least give it some time to see how it will fluxuate.  Even if we are going to base the move on the currency, I seriously doubt it.  And why should we?  The United States gave that section of Manhattan Island to the UN as a sign of peace and an offering.  Why would the UN choose to give it away after 50+ years?  The reason why it is headquartered there is not because of the economic strength of the United States, but rather the fact that the US is considered to be the country that essentially created the United Nations.  The EU still has UNICEF and UNDPs headquarters stationed there, along with the IAEA.

The reason why the United Nations headquarters is in New York is because New York was not being bombed during the war.  Furthermore, even though New York is the UN headquarters, there are also other locations where the UN meets, such as Geneva, The Hague, Bonn, and Copenhagen.  The UN General Assembly does not just meet in New York (they actually normally meet in Geneva or The Hague).

Yes, lets kick out the UN,  all the foreign dignitaries ( dignitaries what a joke) the traffic tickets, unpaid bills, special treatment....... Kick the UN out of America and send them to Germany

They should have gotten the eviction notice about 30 years ago. But yesterday will do, and now is ok if that is all that we can work out with them.  The UN has nothing to do with currencies, but hey let them move to Europe or China or anywhere but the USA.  BYE BYE UN!!

God I hope so.  Lets get rid of all these folks who's only desire is to bring the United States down.  Let them move to Switzerland or South Africa or China and let us be rid of supporting them.  Granted they do bring money to the US, New York specifically, but that is not worth the trouble they bring also.  Let them take their crime, espionage to some other country.  Let us put our UN payments to better use.
