Yes, we can't afford it as a country. The effort and money spent could go to much better causes. The money spent and still being wasted could have gone to R&D for fuel/oil alternatives. Taking our business away from that country by not having to buy their oil would render any terrorist frozen by way of not being able to finance any attacks.

When the world's economy no longer depends on oil, then the world will be safe from rogue, terrorist sponsoring countries like Iran and Syria, then "Yes," absolutely and with great haste!  Sadly, Iran has stated that when the U.S. pulls out of Iraq, they are more than ready to "fill the vacuum of leadership."  If you think the cost of oil and gasoline are high now, just wait until our enemy gains control...

yes we must pull out!!!!!not only they ask us to leave US a real big defeciet just coz of the war...the young generations to come will have to suffer big time...u.s should stay in afghan and finish there not start 2 wars @ once...if u read the news iraqese double their oil $$$ compare to last yr,and they got surplus while we're in the hole and still payin for the war w/ our money and lifes......

no. Its not soon enough. If we pull the troops out now, the government won't reastablish properly. Then terrorist will rebel and what does that mean? WE GOT GO TO WAR AGAIN!!! I want troops to go home to their families.... I just don't want more people to die in the future because we didn't act smart enough.

Isn't the war costing every family in the US around 100 dollars a month?

I think the troops should only be pulled out if they can make sure there won't be another version of 9/11. Finding Bin Laden is important but I wonder how many others are ready to take his place, so would finding him mean that the troops need to search for another terrorist?

When I see some muslim videos I personally get really frightened because they all seem to speak of muslims taking over the world. As a woman I feel it is important that muslims don't take because a muslim woman is so heavily restricted from the real world.

For now I think that the troops shouldn't be pulled out until the CIA has a reliable way of gathering information to keep American safe.
