We are occassionally inspected.  I have relatives working up in the missile fields in the northern U.S.  Part of our international treaties say that foreign countries can come inspect.  Like Russia came a couple of years ago, but we lie to them and don't show them all of the missiles.

I think that if th u.n or anybody asked for an inspection and dismantling they would be given lip service and enough old and unused weapon  would be destroyed to shut them up but no access would ever be given to the really bad stuff or new generation nukes.Then once that is done what are you going to do with the really nasty parts of the weapons those parts will never leave the u.s.
