ITZ OFFICIAL JOBA HIT THE 15-DAY DL

We may or may not make the playoffs this year.

We cant risk him coming back and blowing out his shoulder and not pitch the begging of next year.

Cuz Joba should throw the 1st pitch in the new Yankee Stadium

Yankees could have this next year:

Rotation

Joba

Wang

Pettitte (or C.C. Sabathia)

Moose

Hughes

Lineup

LF Damon

SS Jeter

3B Arod

1B (Giambi or Tex)

RF Nady

DH Matsui

2B Cano

C (Jorge/Molina/Pudge)

CF (Melky / Gardner / Christian)

  1. He is done for the year. Just about any doctor can read a MRI and tell you that you have a tear, but he is going to see Andrews. I hope he isnt, because i would never wish that on anybody but im just saying.

  2. depends on how serious the shoulder injury is

  3. I think that the Yanks will just have to wait and see with this whole Joba situation. I honestly don't think they will rush him. If he is able to pitch, then he will. If not, he will be out the rest of the season. It will all depend on how serious the injury is.

  4. Touch and go. Let's see how he responds after some rest. I still say it's too early to make the choice to end his season.

And I expect that Wang will probably throw out the first pitch in the New Yankee Stadium.

There's still a chance to make the playoffs. I'm not bailing yet.

  5. it depends if there w/ in 5 games wen he feels he can go

  6. That's being a little too careful. He should be fine by September when the Yankees really need him.
