  1. I dont think the Pirates will trade him but I think Yanks will be fine with Molina because he has over 40 % thrown base runners out and could hit

  2. Id like them too because Im a Yankee fan and a big fan of Ryan Doumit (Im a catcher, so i appreciate these things lol)

  3. good point. and yeah why not. give us a good number 6 hitter wh ocan catch 8/10 games. how is he behind the dish?

  4. Lets not get crazy.  They have virtually been without Posada all year and they are 9 games over .500.  Molina can handle the catching and they have enough offense besides.  They just need to hit better in the clutch, which they will.  To sum it up:  No Posada - No problem.

  5. Doumit is probably only one of a very few Pirates that is not available. He is the only catcher in their system capable of producing offensively. Last year, the Bucs didn't know what they had in Doumit. Now that the new management team has worked with him, he has become a good major league catcher and will be with the Bucs for years to come.

  6. No. The Pirates are not willing to trade Doumit and I don't think he is a need. He will only be there until the end of the season anyway. Molina should handle the duties just fine.

  7. they should consider it as jose molina is now their full-time catcher. jose molina is a terrific defensive catcher but they'll need some offense as both hideki matsui and posada are injured. they have chad moeller but he isn't anything special.

  8. They should consider it since Posada shut his season down.
