Good point on the match balls damian. I wouldn't be surprised if they had bags of the official balls while all the other countries are playing with some factory reject seconds.

Sport and controversy are never far apart from each other.

Can't believe this jersey thing for so many reasons......

But to get to the point NO. We should not be changing our jersey's for the french. I was fine with us changing them for Scotland because that is traditionally what happens.

The french are showing such little respect for us. If you look over history at the results of matches when the opposition has been disrespectful towards the ABs I think you will find the results only go one way.

Well I asked this questions days ago, and the fact is this!

The IRB decided the kit design not NZ.

We have played in black ever since we started playing Iternational Rugby which is why we are called THE ALL BLACKS!

Personally, it doesn't worry me or any of the players wearing a none black shirt, BUT IT DOES EFFECT THE VIEWING PLEASURE! and that DOES concern me.

The notion that France will win the game because of a colour change is stupid and infantile. Those who peddle this point, neither know the fortitude of the AB's team, nor have any understand of test match rugby. To those, put your answers in the soccer forum, where it belongs.

Go the AB'S in white, blue, silver or green.

Can't France wear White and NZ wear black. They are called the All Blacks and france have as much white as blue on their flag. Nz doesn't have any silver on theirs

It should not have come down to a coin toss, New Zealand were top of their pool, France were second in theirs, France should have to change their strip because we're top qualifiers from our pool and they're not.

Yes, we lost the toss of the coin and they are the host nation.  They should wear a completely different strip.  They have done this in the past against Scotland many many years ago. Get over it and do it without any lame excuses.

IT doesnt make a difference,if you talk to any of the ABs its a novelty for them to wear different jersey ,believe me the all blacks love playing scotland cause its a chance to wear the so called white jersey,it makes no difference,they can wear pink and it wouldnt phase them

Any one know the result of the IRB decision. I agree about nonenzedder being pointless in this one.

No green and Gold on the Aussie flag, Not blue in the Italian flag etc etc etc...

We lost the coin toss, so yeah we should have to.  The IRB should make France go back to their normal blue as well so this won't even be an issue though!

The IRB did tests and the silver jerseys some how clash with the dark blue French ones so maybe they will have to wear white while we wear BLACK!

Soo if there is no black on the flag, shouldn't frances kit have some sort of moral precedence..in that it is not picked just to look cool?

Hawkeye the grey welsh shirt was because both canada and wales wear red...As there is red all over their flags..someone had to change..if your kit doesn't represent your flag you should gladly change it - as there is sweet **** all to be precious about.

As hosts, the French should do the polite thing.

But I think they should never have been allowed to darken their jersey - far too similar to Scotland and New Zealand.

Just another s***w up that we will have to correct when we host next time around.

The match ball issue is another s***w up, do think the French can practice with match balls ? Or are all countries having trouble getting their hands on match balls.

Still, won't be an issue, I think even Laporte knows the French quest for the cup will end in Wales.
