even though that lockyer or thurston are fit.prince is the form halfback at the moment.slater is also claiming the fullback position.what the current australian team did last year cannot be ignore.i think that they should all be representing the green and gold again.maybe the scores will be a cricket scores against the kiwis.

  1. No they shouldnt but they will. the selectors for some reason dont pick the form players they pick the same team every time. Prince and Slater have been the 2 best players in the comp this year and they probably wont make the team because lockyer played one full game so now all of a sudden hes the best in the world which i think is bullshite. Same with slater, when the storm played manly he outplayed brett stewart so much that i didnt even no stewart was on the field but the selectors will pick stewart cas he was there last year

  2. honestly i think a few changes to the team is only going to improve it.. but keep smith as captain.. put slater at fullback for sure...

  3. if lockyer is in the team then theres no better person to be captain

  4. The team was definitely great last time, but it wasn't great as in international standards, it was just that the NZ team wasn't really up to scratch.

Slater should definitely be in, if just for the excitement he brings to the game. Personally, Darren Lockyer should be left out for now, as he isn't in great form, and doesn't seem to have fully recovered from his injury yet. Scott Prince is definitely great, and  I'm very undecided between him and Thurston, they're both brilliant. Too bad they had to be playing in the same generation...

Hopefully the Kiwi team will be much stronger this time as well, so the match will be really exciting and suspenseful!

  5. yeah i think so

  6. NO! i fink not

Lockyer hasent inpressed at all yet, so i fink Prince should take his spot. Stewtert the most over rated fullback in the NRL should not  even b in contention this year, he was only picked by default last year and went s**+.t house in Origin and the test game. Slater is better then him in every way and will should picked

  7. The only reason those people where i nthe team was because the like of Lockyer, Thurston, Hunt etc were all injured. If they were all fit we would've thrahed the Kiwi's by even more. It should also be noted that New Zealand had their own injury problems and didn't call in anybody from the Super League a well as bith Krisnan Inu and Luke Covell being injured in the match and Steve Matai was sent off so they were massively understrength.
