Should the backs of my ankles hurt after I done running with spikes?

I run the 400md. ..sprinting spikes

  1. when you wear spikes you are putting a lot of pressure and strain on your muscles and connective tissue.

    Be sure you are warmed up before running in spikes and you should ease into their use.

    Don't wear them in a track meet unless you have gotten used to using them.

    Start out by doing some strides and a few intervals for several days before racing.

    What you are probably feeling  are sore Achilles tendons, use some ice and massage.
