  1. I don't think that would be very fair cause I mean what if you're a stud but your team sucks?  That would suck.

  2. Yes I think so I mean like msi_cord said it shouldn't come from a terrible team but if that team is in the race maybe but definitely if the MVP is in the playoffs

  3. Yes, to show that he helped the team make it to the Play-off!

  4. If somebody is the best player in baseball it shouldn't matter if the team is in the playoffs or not. They cant control how the entire team plays, they can only control how they play.

  5. Clearly the MVP shouldn't come from a terrible team, but I don't think that he necessarily should come from a playoff team.  Any team that has a legitimate shot or is a real contender should be able to have an MVP.

  6. Yes or at least in the playoff race.

  7. not necessarily.  The MVP should be a player who provides the best all around game offensively and defensively.  There's only so much one guy can do an a team where there are nine folks on the field.

  8. no// it is most valuable player not team

  9. yes because obviously if the team couldnt make the playoffs they werent THAT valuable

  10. no josh hamilton

hes gonna be mvp and the rangers are not going to make the playoffs

  11. I don't think that should matter, but apparently it does. Andruw Jones deserved it in 2005, but it was given to Albert Pujols (still one of my favorite players). Andruw finished second, but he deserved it that time. The reason people were saying it went to Pujols was because the Cards got further in the playoffs than the Braves did.
