racist are not patriots of America. they try to divide America up into tribal sects. the kind of tribal sects you would find in a third country.

research has shown that people are productive when they live in positive, safe environments. Racist create tension as they try to get fellow citizens to abuse other fellow citizens. decreasing the overall productivity of our nation. Racist are not patriots. they are loyal only to their tribe or group and not the total nation. either you are for the total nation or you are not.

Well, if racists harm people to satisfy their anti-social thinking... they will have their rights taken away.  You can't disenfranchise people for thinking or even saying "unpopular" things.  That's not the way it works here.

To compare racism with sexual predators is beyond ridiculous.  Being racist might make you a pinhead, but it's not illegal.

But, hey, if you want to take away the civil rights of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and a good portion of the media which promotes racial division in this country, go for it.

You are correct that such racially divisive attitudes are not good for this country...but on an individual level, our laws require that a federal crime be committed before one forfeits any of their civil rights.

Racism isn't illegal & is an opinion where as a sexual predator has committed an illegal act.  If a racist does something to a person because of color or ethnic background, they can be dealt with by the court system.  Also, the act can be considered a "hate crime" & the punishment can be stiffer.

Sexual predators carry out physical assaults on others. Racists, as despicable as you think they are, are exercising their rights to free speech under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

I find it remarkable that so many people want to take away the rights of other people only because they disagree with their views.

Don't get me wrong, I think racism is wrong and I think it is a huge problem in this country. (the elephant in the room) So much so, that I'm planing to move out of this country (Granted-racism exist everywhere, but I've been to a few, and it doesn't seem to be a big issue, in that no one is afraid to talk about it) Unfortunately, racism however is not a crime. Obviously, they have hurt people before, so they should be watched, but they should not suffer the same consequences a sexual predator would. Especially not under the pretense that they are not true patriots. I'm not a racist, but I'm not a patriot either-I would never harm this country, but I can't say I would risk my life for it either. But I do agree, racists are not patriots at all-this is America and it is SUPPOSE to be a place for all kinds of people. Pretty ironic, huh?
