  1. No.

  2. It took you this long to figure out how you got in trouble?

  3. No the 4th amendment protects us for unreasonable search and seizure.

  4. This is nothing less than a cop out, how much easier is it to control the activity of the individual than to have proper policing and protection of society? Why should I support the invidious invasion into my private activity, whilst the powers that be allow the dregs of society to have control of my country? Let the government deal with the criminals, the dross, the (condoned) peadophile rings, the drug dealers, the slave traders, the child importers, the illegal immigrant, the terrorist, ffs, they cannot do a d**n thing about them so let's go for the easy target. "Big Brother" is watching you, you have done nothing wrong, but you are not as smart as the criminal and are easier to target. Should the citizen be able to observe the activity of the government? When they are exposed as criminals, trough snufflers, they get a promotion to the EU. Web users and ISPs are more than aware of who uses the internet for the wrong purposes, shut down the p**n, stop all online gambling, but then again, these generate hard cash, such hypocrisy is used as yet another way of reducing the freedoms of the law abiding citizen, rather than getting their governmental act together. We already know that much of our activity online is recorded, trouble is they are targetting the easy touch rather than addressing the real issues, nothing changed there then? .

  5. I say no.  I don't think there is anything they can really find out and that they may end up accusing innocent people for just looking up stuff to see if it is out there.  If they believe someone is a terriorist for "good reason" then search away; if not stay off my server...

  6. It depends.  If they believe said citizen is a threat to national security, then yes.  Otherwise, no.

  7. Yes. Look at the childrens p**n sites they have shut down and made arrests. The  terrorists use the internet. If you have nothing to hide, it will not make any difference to anyone.
