  1. No. I think every possible facet of the medical field should be looked into, even if it seems weird or unorthodox. There are so many other things out there than can help us that we don't even know about because western medicine is slow to expand it's scope. It is h**l bent on recreating nature rather than using what nature has already provided us.

I don't even smoke weed, but I think it should be legalized. They can tax it, and use that to fund the research of it. And less people will get angry.

  2. Hello,,pass it on!!vote for the Libertarian Party!! they said they would decriminalize marijuana!!

  3. well

    you see

they have to keep happy the really rich cooperations that pay them off to pass bills and what not

so its up to them not the government

  4. Once again, it has been proven to be beneficial for pain.  It works better than other pain meds especially in chronic pain diseases like MS and fibromyalgia.  The only draw back would be if the patient took it and drove or committed some other crime, hopefully they know enough to stay home and enjoy being pain free.

  5. Whaaat??

For your information, the government (USA) is FUNDING studies to discern medical benefits of marijuana.

  6. You should try it. It's not bad. It's a plant that never hurt ANYONE and has no more negative affects than say tobaco, drinking, or fast food. You can't even overdose it! It's illegal because it's too good and makes you too happy. People would just spend all their time getting high.

  7. Well, they carried out a huge hit job against it in the early 20th century (which was only repealed for ww2), and "managed to erase" most of the previous known clinical applications for it, and now funds a massive anti drug campaign against it, so given that they hold that approach, it makes sense that they'd also want to fund studies proving the stuff is bad, and prevent studies doing the opposite (and then say claim they're just doing it to appease people who object to drug abuse).

On the other hand, if you want to judge the actions on the ethics of them, then I would say that they should not.

However, the whole history of marijuana has been full of plenty unethical things.  It was one of the best crops that could be grown for a variety of applications, and multiple industries which were threatened by it colluded to get it banned, and then got the government to take the job over (and say arrest and jail people for doing a completely harmless action).  Given that, I think suppressing pro marajuanna studies is a pretty trivial action in the grand scheme of things that have been done on this issue.

  8. Absolutely not.  Something which grows so abundantly, and has the potential for so much good, should obviously be studied extensively.
