The Bush administration and the Iraqi government are working on a pact that will set the removal of all foreign troops from Iraq by 2011.

Congress is not been asked to ratify that agreement.

Will Obama be bound by it?

I know McSame will want to stay in Iraq for years.

  1. No, the next president will not be bound by whatever GWB signs.

The Iraqi government want a fixed date for all foreign troops to be out of Iraq whether McSame will want it or not.

Obama will pull out because that is what Americans want too.

  2. McCain does not want to stay in Iraq for any longer than necessary. He wants to get the job done, which entitles safer streets and a stronger government, one that wont fall like so many before it.

Anyway, in the event Obama is elected, if he has any honor at all he will follow it.

And I think you mean "Congress has not been asked"

  3. did you ever think obama himself was actually going to pull the troops?????????

all lies...this is his way out...there is an agenda.....

    no president is above it...

THEY ALL LIE THIS IS A JOKE

  4. If congress has not made any such resolution or pact law, then no he is not bound by it.  BTW, W taught us that the president doesn't have to be bound by any law so why bother asking?

  5. Obama won't follow it, and it's a shame. Bush's plan isn't contingent on a time line, like Obama's. If ground conditions change then the time line will change. Obama will have all troops out by 2010, he has reiterated this over and over, that he will withdrawal a set number of brigades each year until they are all gone, regardless of ground conditions. It would be a shame to have spent 5 years in Iraq just to leave and have it fall into the hands of people who would do harm to America and Israel.

  6. The only reason Bush would actually sign that pact would be to help the GOP's chances in the fall....he knows as well as most that the war in Iraq, when coupled with our economy, are the biggest obstacles they face in november.
