  1. No i believe there would be a conflict of interests going on, so i believe it would be wrong. Whether they have to or not is another thing, Good question though have a star :)

  2. that is not how the system works, the police are not our friends...remember, do not tell them anything without your attorney being present...good question.

  3. How can the police keep the suspect up to date on their investigation of HIM that´ll not only unheard of but a bit like fore warning the suspect on what they have.

  4. If you are talking about a murder where there is an identifiable body then no, if it is a missing person then it's not always possible to involve close relatives, but if you are talking about the little McCann girl then it cetainly is total and absolute incompetence on the behalf of the PJ to do their job correctly and especially the lazy, fat incompetent cretin who certainly is in major trouble over a previously bungled investigation when the Mother of the missing child was beaten up by his officers to extract a 'confession' - the rotten creature is now awaiting sentencing  and yet no one else ever keeps track of that imbecile on here! Why? Is it easier to point the finger at the parents than to say that this revolting fat creature didn't do his job right? The PJ have now admitted it. Those two incidences are not the only ones - there have been a lot of children taken from that area - do you think the police know more than they ought to?

  5. No because if a suspect is wanted for murder and they start to feel that the police are suspecting them more for it, they may try to flee the country. I did.

  6. Should the police call someone a suspect without a shred of evidence, and shouldn't police in a missing person case do all they can to find that person?

  7. They tend to not share the details with anyone - suspect or victim.

  8. In the case of the McCanns that would a great idea so as to please many McCann supporters..lol

  9. Absolutely not, if there is an ongoing investigation then many of the details will be kept private until charges can be brought against the suspect.  Releasing information could impact the case negatively.

  10. No they certainly should not, only after they have built a case and made charges should the accused get full access to the deatils, otherwise they will just cover their tracks

  11. If they are the parents of a missing child, why not?  Most people accept that they are suspects in this situation - why not be open about it?
