  1. Waaay too soon to start talking off-season, they'll still make a couple small moves during the season (Waiver Deals) for a left handed reliever and maybe even a starter.

To TW or whatever the Yankee fan's name is... they need CF help? Are you serious, Ellsbury is a rookie, he'll only get better. Saying the Sox need CF help is like saying the Yankees need to replace Joba, Hughes and Kennedy because they only have 4 wins between them.

Back to reality here... The offseason for the Sox will be uneventful most likely. They aren't losing anybody truly important but will probably be involved in the Sabathia & Sheets talks.

  2. As a NYY fan, I will say no. If you're asking as a non-biased baseball fan, then yes. They greatly need to bolster their bullpen. And work on the CF position. Think of how many more runs they would have scored this year with Jacoby getting on base more. He was great in the postseason last year and totally fell-off this year. His defense is stellar but he has cost the Sox so many runs. With his speed, if his ops was better THEY would be in first in the AL East. Especially with the way Pedroia has been hitting.

  3. They could use a good catcher because Varitek and Cash both suck. Maybe they sign Pudge Rodriguez because the Yankees won't need him after this year.

  4. They will look into it. I am sure they might add an arm to the bullpen but its been much much better for a couple weeks now.

If anything it be a sortstop possible. or an arm in bullpen.

  5. Nah i think they're fine. oh and TW you can't just blame Ellsbury for the red sox not being in first place. It's a team effort to be there not just one single person.

  6. Off season? Yes!!!! Now? No it won't help!!!

  7. YA!!
