Should the try be allowed to italy (6nations rugby)?

personally i don't think so as the ball couldn't be seen...

  1. When a try goes to the TMO, the words of the ref have a lot to do with the TMO's decision!

    In this case, the asked "is there any reason not to award a try"

    as the replayed showed, the ball could not be seen, therefore there was no DECISIVE (key word) reason why  the try could not be giving!

    In the England v Wales game the ref asked the TMO

    "try or no try"

    the TMO said "no try".

    It is all down to the wording of the ref!


  2. Yes. There were no Irish players under the player with the ball so there was nothing to prevent the touch down.

  3. I agree...how can they give a try when they couldnt see if the ball touched the ground!!!!!

    It was across the line and not dropped so the presumption must be a try if it cannot be seen in that situation
