  13. Air rage has become more common because the cabin air isn't replaced by fresh air as often as it used to be when smoking was allowed. Now people have to breathe more carbon dioxide from the breath of other passengers and it effects the brain in such a way that people get more irritable and that is why air rage has increased so much recently.
