  1. no because the girls are not at the level like guy fighters are

i rather watch guys fight then girls lol

  2. I watched several of those bodog fights, each show had a female match, and they were always entertaining.  I'd like to see it.

  3. YES, females are more intense than men.  its always amazing to see women fight

  4. Yes. But they won't because right now, the UFC is being run by a chauvinistic, self serving egomaniac.

  5. Not yet, but I'm all for it as soon as they get good enough to fight in the UFC.

  6. no, there are only a few women martial artists, most are old

  7. If they could find enough female martial artists (they'd have to be young for an appeal to ppl who watch UFC) then sure.

But there are very few young female mixed martial artists.

  8. personally i wouldnt watch it. ufc is for the BEST fighters period.  if a women is good even to be world class and wants to get into the octagon against a man im all for that. but just seeing two women fight bc they are women and not the best isnt exciting. men are generally stronger and better fighters than women.

  9. yes i would also like too see some foxy boxing.

  10. Dana White has said that he won't have women fighting in the UFC, because he doesn't think women should fight. and him being the owner...he can do whatever he wants.

  11. NO

  12. If dana does start a female division he would have it done in WEC that is where they concentrate on the less popular weight classes.  There aren't many well known fighters in 145 as opposed to 205.  Just like a woman's division would be there is only a few that are known, and you wouldn't even recognise the name just the face at first.

  13. The UFC should NOT start with female MMA.  Not that I didn't enjoy watching the fight the other night -especially Crush -wow - but the UFC has enough stars & fighters that I wish that we had the opportunity to watch more of the undercard matches on PPV.  I will be pissed if we start losing PPV matches for female MMA - unless they reserve it for championship bouts.

The reason why Dana White said he had to let some fighters go to free agency over the last few months is that they UFC fighters wanted to fight more than 2x per year & there are only so many fight cards per year & some of his fighters were not fighting as much as they would like & therefore not making as much money as they would like.

  14. Yes they should. That fight the other night on Elite XC was the best fight of the night hands down. I think that all the chick fights would be like that if the UFC let them start fighting. They have a name to make for themselves..

  15. no because girls are weak and they are soft. boys can beat them anytime

  16. People keep referencing the elite xc match between the 2 women being the best fight of the night and that's why there needs to be a female division.

Let me make an analogy here. You are forced to watch a wet t-shirt competition. The first 20 ladies to come out are 2's. You get used to seeing the 2's, all of your expectations are now based on the 2's you've seen so far all night. Then a 5 comes walking out and you are just floored!! It's the best thing you've seen all night!! OMG gotta have more. It's just a 5!! Get over it.

The fight was only the best fight of the night because there wasn't a good fight on that night. Ms. Carano, for as much hype as she is getting, came to the fight out of shape, and seemed winded by the second round. To her great fortune her opposition was weak enough that she managed to best her early on. If that fight went much longer she wouldn't have had the endurance to stay with her. Now on a normal fight night her fitness might have been higher. I don't know. I'm not a follower of hers so I can only base my opinion on what I saw Saturday night. She seems to be a technically sound fighter so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

Fast foward to Sunday night. If the female fight was in the WEC line up it would have been near the bottom if not the worst fight of the night.

So to answer the original question... IF the ufc feels there are enough HIGH quality fighters available to bring in a female division, then by all means go for it. Until then I don't want to see it.

  17. The problem is there isn't enought to talent to make an exciting womens division. I agree that a women's fights can be exiting but it would be very hard to build a division. Elite XC only has a few women signed so I think it will be hard to cont. making interesting matchups

  18. h**l ya who wouldnt want to see chicks getting down and dirty with each other
