  1. Certainly not. Competition promotes growth and prosperity and so why should the keralites be deprived of this excellent opportunity for increasing their choices.

  3. when the retail shop can make money,unemployed youths can earn a respectable lively hood by opening small vegetable and fruit vendors[ mobile] one such retail mall will take away at least employment opportunity for 500 such unemployed youths may be more,now its your choice

  6. They must not be banned BUT the number of shops must be limited - not only in Kerala but around the country.

    The real problem with these big guns entering retail or other business is - they swallow the opportunities of small guys who are completely depended on this.

    For eg: Reliance Fresh, Reliance as tons and tons of business ranging from Oil to Telecommunication; they make crores daily ... why should they enter vegetable / fruit selling business and destroy the life of small vendors?
