  1. define winning the war in Iraq?  Why did we invade Iraq 5 years ago.  Weapons of mass destruction.  Problem with that is that Israel took out Iraq's Nuclear program in June of 1981.  Now we have the deaths of 1.2 million or more civilians who knows how many soldiers and others who have died from other nations.  Back before the first Gulf War there was a propaganda campaign that forever tainted Saddam in our nations eyes.  He must have had a good side because many in his nation loved him.  That young girl and her misleading lies has led to two wars and the deaths of millions

  3. Troops are being brought home now...and with more honor than they would have if everyone has listened to the the "experts" like Senator Biden.

You fight to win.  If you don't want to win, you've already lost.

  4. We have not been at war with Iraq in a long long time, we are at war with terrorist, insurgent.

  5. Protect people in Iraq by killing them?  How many tens of thousands of innocent people does it take to make you believe anyone's "protecting" anyone?

About the only thing protected here is kharma, which is going to come back to the U.S. if they don't get out of Iraq.

What does it take for people to remember that Bin Laden is Saudi Arabian, that most of the people that commited 9/11 are Saudi Arabian, and that they were funded by Saudi Arabians?

And then the silly arguments about stopping Sadam?  How long has the U.S. government known of Saddam's corruption?  Since the 80's at least.  And nobody complained back then about selling him weapons.  Now people are so blinded that they don't even know that the people that Sadam had killed were killed by American weapons and American chemicals sprayed from American helicopters.

The only real solution is to get out of Iraq as soon as possible.  If Americans stay in Iraq into the next president's term, it will show that the occupation wasn't just a Bush thing, but an American thing.  In other words it shows that the American public is complacent about tens of thousands of innocent people dying in Iraq.  That in turn means any American is now a target for revenge attacks.  Sure, you can say that most Iraqis won't want revenge, but out of the possibly hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed since this "war" began, I'm sure there's at least a handful of people who had their lives destroyed, their loved ones killed by American soldiers, and they're going to want revenge.

But, hey, if Americans want to keep up the "war", then what goes around comes around.  I'm not American.  Your country is so in debt it's not funny.  And to China of all places.  Did you know that?  Your country spends WAY more money than it actually has.  Imagine if you actually spent that money on yourselves?  There would be no problem with health care, because everyone would be covered.  There wouldn't be such a big energy crisis because you wouldn't be wasting so much of it in Iraq.  Do you know how much fuel and oil it takes to run all those tanks, jeeps, helicopters, jets, and everything else?

There are reasons why this war is so incredibly unpopular and why so many non-Americans hate it as well.

The U.S. doesn't even have the manpower to protect it's own embassy in Iraq.  It hires a private company, Blackwater, to do so.  That's pretty pathetic.  There aren't enough American soldiers willing to protect American interests that the government actually has to pay tons of money to a private company.

The troops do need your help.  Whether they want it or not, they need you to get them back to the U.S. and smarten up.  As it is they're just continuing the cycle of violence, wasting your money, destroying others' lives.

  6. Huh?  Wars are ended when objectives are met or you have lost the will to fight.  Our objectives are in the process of being met in Iraq.  You need to realize that the war with Al Qaeda is not over.  They intend to continue attacking capitalism and democracy for hundreds of years.

  7. Yes it should. I had a different opinion until I went down to MEPS because I met tons of guys that had prior service and were re-enlisting to go back to Iraq and/or Afghanistan, so apparently they think they are getting something done, and you can't disagree with someone that has actually been there.

  8. i dont know what you are reading (im guessing stuff from major media) ...but the war has been over for quite sometime.....

that is why it is not plastered all over the front page...and democrats are no longer talkign about body bags...the worst is over

    the surge worked

    mccain was right

  9. we're in iraq training their military so they can take their country back. the war is in afghanistan now. and yes we need to get rid of the radical muslums so they dont come over here and kill all of us.
