No, because then there would be a lot less teams, which would mean a lot less players, a lot less games, a lot less money, a lot less publicity, and a lot less popularity.

Why not? im a canadien pushing for more teams in canada, but still, detroit, new york, la, minneapolis, philadelphia, dc/baltimore, boston, buffalo?, chicago, denver, and anywhere in the sanfran area, and most of the teams here sell out games, so its not that bad

Toronto Maple Leafs

Boston Bruins

New York Rangers

Detroit Red Wings

Chicago Blackhawks

Unless Canada stole Montreal and Toronto Of the original 6, only 4 were American cities.
