Should there be a Man's Study besides a Woman's Study under Gender?

Perhaps. Only if yahoo answer's really had an interest in Men's social problems. If they dont than it is pointless.

     (If yahoo had unbiased moderators to sift through and read most of the questions alot of the foolish questions wouldnt exist, but then again a perfectly good question from a mans point of view is often viewed as foolish by some women)

I think ''man's studies'' is already implicit under the umbrella of ''gender studies''.

But you could ask for the catergory to be changed to simply ''Gender studies'' dropping the specific reference to women.

Masculitiy and it's positives, negatives and challenges are a valid topic which can be viewed from many standpoints (including feminist).

Case in point: Sarah's comment. Far too many men act like fools. Besides, honestly, what issues do men commonly have, that are not easily resolved? They hardly face as many issues as women, and most of the questions that are raised are just foolish. I'm not against all men, just ones who choose to act like idiots.
