its only fair because even the bowlers have quite a role to play in a t20 match.

  1. There is a lot of talk about that orange cap and the batsman. Popular view says T20 is all about the batsman.

    I like what Monti said.

A band sounds better; caps could be confusing.

  2. Why would you think to put a cap on a bowler. There is already

a cap on a bowler to bowl only 4 overs, where as the batsman

does not have any. Is that fair? Bowlers are very much part of

t20 cricket and putting more restrictions on bowlers will loose

interest and entertainment factor of the game.

  3. yes, its is only fair

  4. If not cap then an orange wrist band. That would be cool.

  5. I fully agree with you.  In all fairness to bowlers, the leading bowler also should be recognised by giving similar cap being given to top scorer.

  6. i think they should but do not as the t20 format is considered as a batsmens game.

  7. yes there should be may be of different colour so that differenc between highest run getter & wicket taker can be noticed

  8. hrmm a cap is not a bad idea, but how about maybe (since all players these days wear a number, tho i have noticed some havent been in the IPL) giving a special coloured number to wear on the back of their shirts? what about since its the orange cap for the leading batsman, why not the orange number for bowlers?

also why not award something for the leading wicket keepers as well (perhaps a points system decided by the umpires like the on they use for the fair play award), us keepers get ripped off in the ackolade stakes! (ok yeah so i am biased as well lol)

  9. yes

  10. ya  i think so...bowlers hav equal value in t20 cricket ...they can save a match......a orange or some other coloured cap should be  given to the leading wicket taker after every match.....

  11. Yes... bowlers also need a cap...

  12. I think Monti is right! The leading wicket taker should be given an orange wrist band....as the bowler can't wear a cap while bowling & wrist band sounds cool....
