  1. NO....many CEO's are owners who risk a lot...they deserve the rewards for their risk.......not to have to share when the workers are guaranteed a check...he / she is not......

  2. No, that plain and simple would not work.

    Just look at IBM.

    They have 350,000 employees.

From janitors, to engineers to scientist.

There is just no way, your gonna fit the salary scale for all those widely separate positions

In by restricting the CEO to twice the lowest paid employee.

You would have the CEO of McDonalds making $10.00 an hour.

    Thats just plain silly.

Even if McDonalds paid beginning employess $15.00 an hour.

You still couldn't pay a CEO of a corporation as large as McDonalds, $30.00 an hour, which would just be $60,000 a year.

Heck Teachers in some states make more than that.

  3. why?

clearly CEOs are worth far more than double their lowest paid employee.  why go to college, let alone business school if you're only going to be paid 2x minimum.

  4. No.  The government has no business placing a ceiling on the amount of money people can make.

  5. They already have that law in China.     The janitor makes $2.00 a day and the plant manager makes $4.00 .

The millions of dollars in profits go to free health care , weapons production and palaces of gold and Jet Planes for the leaders .

It kind of reminds me of Al Gore and Rockefeller when they express their ideas .

  6. No. CEOs run the company and shouldn't be paid twice as much as the janitor. What a crazy liberal idea. You have just described socialism in one question.

  7. yea so the man who went to business college gets paid only double what the school dropout janitor gets paid

  8. well they do have a law similar to that in japan, but it is a much higher ratio as it should be, i mean twice would mean even the ceo would have to work two jobs.  I feel most ceo's are overpaid, but they still deserve to be paid a high wage for their risk, but it definately needs to be brought back to reality.

  9. that's called socialism.

  10. Well I'd let them make a higher ratio than that...

But yeah I think that kind of law would do more good than the minimum wage does.

Seriously, look at how America's corporations are being run into the ground right and left, while these clowns are getting more in compensation than ever before.

Can anyone really be so gullible as to think throwing more money at this bunch of fools is going to make them more competent?
