Should there be a time limit on presidential campaigns?

I believe that the near year long presidential campaigns are torturous. I would limit the timeline of the campaigns to 3 or 4 months. This would benefit the candidates as well. Less time to flip flop and make false promises. Voters might not figure out that the candidates are basically the same person.

no - no time limit should be in place.  Candidates should have plenty of time to shoot themselves.  A short campeign does not give us time to truly see them for who they are.

Yes, we should limit the time-line for campaigns to 3 months. I am so sick and tired of all of the lies from the politicians.
