if so why

the refs and officials are all hooked via headsets so if it went in the 3rd official could message the ref saying wether or not it was a goal

what do you think ?

  1. Spenser G,you fail to mention the amount of time wasting we get these days with these overrated clowns rolling on the floor every 5 minutes and arguing with the ref every 15 minutes....This adds 5-7 minutes on to every game these days, but no doubt your happy with this time wasting?Every major sport on the planet now uses vid technology and have changed accordingly to great success. But of course we're talking about the most overrated game on the planet here.....The money game....There's that many cameras at a football game these days, you can track the path of an ant on the pitch...It doesn't need special equipment or sensors in the ball...It's not rocket science....Stop living in the stone age football, and move into the 21st century....

  2. I don't see why not... If it's crosses the line it's a fair and legitamate goal. However on many occasions goals are not given. (* cough * Mendez against manchester united where the ball was 3ft over the line! *) Haha i laughed when i saw that on match of the day.

  3. it is so needed.could save us some big games. refs get it wrong.the camera never lies.

  4. Yes. I think anyone that could go back to see if the ball was really in or out would.

  5. absolutely so as to determine whether the ball has crossed the line, but I frankly can't understand why UEFA and FIFA keep opposing it.

  6. No, it would change the whole game and ways off football(soccer). To know if it was a goal the game would have to be delayed to get the right called and since the clocks never stop it would just waste time. If they did decide they can stop the clocks for this then it would lead to stoppage for everything else and change the game completely. If somehow they figured out a way to do this but keep the game fair then they would translate that method to stopping play for other events which again would change the game completely.

  7. Yes i definetly agree, with todays technology it can be done easily without slowing the game down.

It will happen sooner or later.
