Question:

Should they bring the 9 pointer in for real season ?

they changed the rule for marking the ball in front of goal and the angle it must be kicked on and that hasn't done any harm the nine pointer adds an extra bit of excitment any body agree?

  1. I don't think they should. The game is good the way it is(Although there are some rules that I don't like).

  4. I'd rather see the rushed behind get three points than the nine point goal, it's always good to see the backman under pressure (do I run it out or do I rush it behind).

  12. No, I think the AFL should stop with the unnecessary rule changes (unless they're gonna change that stupid hands in the back rule)

  13. i dont think they should be no 9 pointer in the afl season because it will be too hard to figure out the goal scorer of the year many people will end up on the same score.

  14. I'm not one for changing the fabric of the greatest game in the world (soccer comes a close second) but i think giving it a trial for one season would be a good idea. Yes it would make the game more confusing to anyone who hasnt watched it before but it does add excitment to the game and it gives the big kickers a chance to show their skills.

    If they were to change any rules though i would like to see them bring in the rule where if it comes off the post its play on because it gives a real sense of desperation in the goal square but rushed behinds being worth 3 points im not so sure about
