  1. Yeah why not.Kill the ****** cos that'd make it all better wouldn't it.

  2. I don't think mentally ill even begins to cover it, but I believe that she should be given the death sentence.

  3. Of course she should.  She is evil to the core.

  4. Death penalty all the way, in fact throw in a few years of torture!

Who in the world would want to harm their own child because she got a sudden attack of guilt, so what if she didnt know the true paternity of her child, is that any excuse to kill your own child? and why let her live? yes she'll be haunted by the memories but after time those memories will become further away from her mind, just kill the evil *****, in fact, someone buy me a plane ticket and i'll firstly subject her to a h**l of a lot of pain n then i'll watch her die a slow and painful death!

Puck: i found it a bit offensive when you asked if she was a brit or euro for askin that question...im a brit and i fully agree with the death penalty, i wish we had it in our country! a life for a life!

  5. Yeah, she must have known that putting a baby in the microwave and turning it on would kill it, its murder, and to her own child too, that's horrible, there's no excuse for it.

  6. This was a dreadful thing to do.  But I don't think a death sentence can ever be justified

  7. WOW!

ok absolute nutter! yeah she doesn't deserve to share our oxygen.

but then again, maybe she was reeeeally hungry

  8. You sound like a goddamn bleeding heart hippie. What are you a Brit? A Euro? You must be to even ask that question. Of course she should be executed; she microwaved her f*cking baby! Everyone who is EVIL is not mentally ill; she knew what she was doing, she knew the consequences in her state, she did it anyway. Ohio is going to execute the evil b*tch, and if you ask me, they can't do it soon enough.

Agree with it or not, the death penalty is part of our law. If you live here, you must abide by and respect our laws. End of story.

EDIT: Sorry raven eyes, and Lou T,  I wasn't trying to launch a personal attack on you, really, it's just that this story gets me so pissed off, and so do many of the answers posted here. Glad you cleared up your nationality, because there are very, very few Americans who would question whether she should be executed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I guess, but I'm just glad she is facing a US court instead of one in the UK. She will pay for this unspeakable crime, and I'm not talking about ping pong tables and satellite TV either.

  9. YES ! Crazy woman , poor baby  !

  10. That is a shocker indeed but I thought that was what Americas society are encouraged to do. The government wants people to become even wilder animals so they can enforce their stamp on each and everyone of you.

  11. no she is clearly mentally ill she should be locked up in a mental hospital for the rest of her days

  12. Omg i can understand how someone could just kill her child liek that. I think that she does have mental health but that she should go and recieve the death penalty... I mean, jsut think of the pain and suffering the baby went through. God, this disgust me.

  13. Yep! Fry her!

  14. God, what an awful way to treat your own flesh and blood.

It IS the most heinous of crimes ~ if it doesn't deserve the death penalty I don't know what does.

She knew the punishment in her State, so she took the risk.

Child burned ~ maybe she should burn in h**l?

  15. I agree this is a horrendous crime.

But I'm also going take a guess that this woman isn't altogether well.  I think she needs a psychiatric assessment to make a decision about her fate.

Although...... I don't believe in the death penalty at all.  If someone has committed such a crime I believe they deserve to live with it.  Death is too easy and, if you think about it, it stops any pain or remorse they may feel.

The families or the victims have to live with it.  So should the perpetrators.

It also seems kind of childish to me.  You kill someone so we are going to kill you.  I think it makes the justice system seem a little bit like a pissed off kid.  You took my toys so I'll take yours.

We need to get more creative and grown up in the ways we try to bring justice to our world.

  16. God yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. I hope someone kills the evil tart, asap

  18. Yes.  Even though she must be mentally ill, she probably knew that her action would kill the baby.

  19. Stake her out,in the desert sun!

    I'm from Wales(UK).

  20. I don't believe the state has the right to kill anyone.

But I'll cheerfully beat her to death with a golfclub.

  21. YES SHE SHOULD! OH MY GOSH! THAT IS THE SICKEST MOST TWISTED DEMENTED AWFUL THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!

  22. well...this is difficult. i used to think those who kill should in return be killed. however my views have changed over the years after i read john grisham's "the chamber". if she is killed for that crime the authorities are no better themselves. the best punishment is to keep her alive so she can live with the memories and consequences of her evil crime.

trust me, i'm sure she's wishing for death. But that is a cop out. let her live to face other punishments.

  23. She committed a crime - namely murder - so she should be punished severely for it. The child did not ask to be born, but once she had been born, she was entitled to be cared for properly by her mother, not to be murdered just because her mother suffered from a possibly misplaced sense of guilt and fear. The child did not deserve to be treated in such a callous, uncaring manner.

This means that my answer is yes, the woman concerned should be given the death sentence, as she denied her daughter the chance of life, so hers should be denied, too.

  24. No she should not. It goes against every law of nature for a mother to do such a terrible thing to her child. She must be terribly ill to do something like that.

Yeah, its hard to find sympathy for someone who does something so utterly utterly awful but it is our compassion that makes us human and to not show her any makes us little better than the animals.

She will have to live with whats she has done if she is not put to death and that might be even harder on her.

Besides - if you are not prepared to "flick the switch" yourself then why are you so eager to let someone else do it.

Post Natal depression is a well-documented (usually) short-term mental illness that can affect women from all walks of life and all ages so don't be too quick to judge.

I am not in any way trying to excuse nor justify what happened only that we show a little compassion before jumping on the "burn the witch" bandwagon.

And no I'm not a Christian just an Humanist.

  25. It seems that this poor child got in the way of what she wanted to do, and for that she needs to get the Death penalty, and I for one would pull the switch. Did I read that she had another four children, because if she did, she should never be allowed to see them again, but I feel sorry for them as they have to live with the stigma of their own Mother killing a human being. They now need some loving care and attention.

  26. anyone seen green mile where they don't wet the sponge and his head burns?  yeah, she deserves this.

  27. This question shouldn't even be asked. If there is such a thing as justice this "woman" should be put to death slowly !

  28. Her actions beggar belief. It is like a bad-taste joke. She must be mentally ill.

  29. Yes she should, baby, toddler, or adult she still murdered her baby.

  30. NO. The death sentence is wrong and is only used by states who do not uphold human rights, such as Burma, Pakistan, China and of course the United States.
