  1. I shouldn't be sayin' this with my held profession, but people are gonna' commit crime.  We must face this as a society and realize that all we can do is contain ignorant actions in ignorant fashions; simply, this means that if one acts as a dog, he/she gets treated as such by being put in a cage to contain the behavior.  Beating them would do nothing but make them afraid and not perform the act in our faces, because the moment we are not around again, and they were sure of this, it will be performed again.  This is how we treat crime.  Is it the right way...no one knows, but it is how we have chosen thus far....

  2. No..

  3. I dont know wether you are trying to say that they deserve more punishment or less. I dont know if thats worse than jail. Jail is pretty bad and im sure prison is worse.

  4. whippped, instill it in their mind

  5. Yes, definitely!  It would be an excellent deterrent and cost the taxpayer a lot less than keeping people in jail.  Saturday afternoon flogging at the courthouse for certain crimes would work very well I believe.  After the number of strokes were administered, the recipient would be admonished to "go thy way and sin no more" and released.  I imagine for most it would only take a couple of sessions to mend their ways.

  6. caned with public viewing humilation
