  1. Absolutely not. The right to vote is just that: a RIGHT. Not a recommendation. That's what makes America America! If it was mandatory for American citizens to vote, how "free" of a country would this be?


  2. no...but i think you should be able to pass a test first to be able to vote...too many uninformed and dumb people out there with the power to vote is ridiculous.

    No one enforces 100% constitution right ;)

  4. NO! A democracy can not function if people are forced to participate.

    By its very nature a democracy is voluntary, if you force people to participate you get elections like Saddam Husein had where he had 100% participation and 100% voting for him to remain in power.

  5. No.  there are already enough people that make uneducated votes and have no idea the platforms or views on issues that the politicians have.  I think to force more people to make uniformed decisions would not be good.
