No!, we should be proud and allowed to be British again. The Royal Family are part of our history and we must not let them fade into the background - no matter how we feel about them.

We are Europe.  Our elected representatives make the laws and they are accountable for the laws they make.  Unlike our elected representatives in the United Kingdom who are accountable to no-one.

There is nothing less British or less of a monarchy than being a satellite of the USA.  Being a part of Europe is our only chance of regaining our independence.

I don't know about accepting it, I rather feel that it is a foregone conclusion but in all probability there aren't many British people who are happy about it.

The monarch dont do anything in terms of running the country and i want to be more european. Why would britishness be lost if we became more european and any way i think british people have got to choose whether they want to be american or european, personnally i would defintly want to be european (no offence to the USA). Also if britain wants to have more of a say in the world we have to let brussels control some things especially when it comes down to foreign policy. lets face it with china and india and maybe russia becoming more powerful plus the US already being a superpower, how long can the UK truly have a say on a global scale. we need the eu to be able to make a true input in the world.

plus i dont mind becoming more european.
