  1. No.  We cannot abandon the electoral college until each and every single state in the UNION of 50 individual states have the same number of voters.   The Electoral college insures that my vote does indeed count.

Why not let every single vote count equally?  I'm including military, everybody who has the right to vote.  Count it.  Each vote has equal weight.  I haven't given my support to any candidtate yet, but I have always thought this would be a good idea.  That way candidates would spend time talking to all people, not just the ones in "key" states.

    Just because the dems can not win a pres. election does not mean we should change the system.

  6. I think people in low density popoulation areas actually know some stuff about life and the rest of us jammed in populated areas, well maybe you're right.  Everybody could move to NY City and vote Democrat and the other 49 states could vote Republican and we could have NY be a utopia
