My son’s birthday is in the summer. Would it be appropriate to ask the parents of his school friends for their addresses so we can mail invitations to their child this summer?

  1. Ask the school about their rules. My kids b-days are both in June. When I sent invitations to school to be passed out. I was informed it's not allowed unless the whole class was being invited. My two boys 5 and 6 at the time didn't want girls at their party...LOL  Since I really didn't know the parents of the kids they wanted to invite we ended up with 2 classes

  2. Sure, I see no problem with that.

  3. Its perfectly fine. just tell them why and they wont care. If you're gonna have it in june you could just hand them out at school. Also a phone call would be fine. you could look it up in the phone book and sometimes the school hands out school directeys which hav all the numbers in it. Sorry for any misspelled words

  4. Yes I think that would be appropriate. Does the school give out a directory with this information already?

  5. Yes, it's an appropriate thing to do.  Don't grade schools still publish  parents/guardians addresses/phone numbers/email addys?

(My youngest was born in 1988..forgive me if i'm not totally "with it".  LOL)

  6. Absolutely! I love that you're thinking ahead!
