  1. Sounds like a good start...but we could also persecute the oil company CEOs for having extremly exorbitant amounts of salary...cuz CEOs arent that valuable to society...

  2. yes

  3. Its not the car problem, but rather the old fogey driver who won't go over 35.

  4. That would be proposterous!

I prefer vehicles that get 3 gallons to the mile

not 3 miles to the gallon.

I hate all you humanitarium activists.

The world is fine leave it the h**l alone.

If you want to have more fun on a friday night instead of eating tofu why dont you go find some good ol boys and play in the mud in our big trucks. Our trucks run trees over. is that going to make you cry? we pull them down just to burn them when were drunk so we have something to p**s on

  5. It is easy to make a statement like this one.  When he bankrolls the study and puts together a truly workable plan, MAYBE I will give it more than a moment of consideration.  While it would be great on so many levels to reduce oil consumption, it will just not happen over night.  For instance, when are the domestic auto makers going to introduce diesel powered cars?  Why are they waiting so long?  Don't know.  How come when I ride my bicycle I am not looked upon as someone who is saving on oil consumption and saving wear and tear on the roads?  And getting exercise to boot!  No, I have been told to get off the road.  Or when I ride my 35 mpg Honda Wing or my 50 mpg Kawasaki dual sport?  Am I given the same consideration as any other motorist?  You drivers can answer that question.  As for me, I have reduced my driving mainly for financial reasons.  I buy from the least expensive stations.  At this time that is all I can do to have my say regarding supply and demand.

  6. The last time I checked we still live in America.  Home of the free and brave and all that.  I guess you greeny people want us all driving little bread boxes like Toyota priuses.  What's the matter with me wanting to drive a car that's safe in case me and my family are ever in an accident?  Move to Russia commie boy.

  7. no. not unless you intend to put 4 out of 5 people afoot. i guess that oil co. ceo got a job at general motors. cuss he sure is trying to sell a ton of cars. if you want get to 35mpg just legislate a 2mpg improvement each year for ten years an the country would be averaging that, an you wouldn't have to get rid of a trillion $ worth of cars.
