I just went to Meyer about an hour ago and they over charged me on 11 items! some were power bars thoses were 35 cents above what was marked one was a dvd it was marked 13.95 and they charged me 21.95 for it! I had to get the manager and she fixed the problem but it made me realize I havent been looking at my receipts. can a dishonest store manager over charge certian items on purpose? maybe they know what items are are going to be keyed in wrong and can pocket the money when they fix the problem. should we all be a little more carefull?

  1. It's like your payslip; anybody can make a mistake. If you can prove that it was a purpose mistake, you'll be rich

  2. I always review all my receipts at the time of purchase.  I've had hair stylists give themselves $8.00 tips on my credit card, I occasionally find items wrong at the grocery store, there are plenty of people out there making mistakes and stealing.  I even check that my gas was charged correctly.  It's amazing how many errors you will find.

  3. Not the way I would have done it. Better ways to cook the books. The store is audited on an regular basis by the state, and if a certain percentage of prices are wrong you receive heavy fines. Not to mention corp. will can you behind for not managing your store well. But you are the final guarantee that you are charged as marked.
