it is the Christian way, but because it is the only way to stay sane and healthy. My only fear is that people who forgive Bush might turn around and elect someone who would continue his policies, and that would be stupidity of the highest order. Maybe the answer is to forgive, but remember what he did to America and the world.

  1. I might forgive, but I won't forget. I only hope he goes back home to Connecticut where he belongs.

As far as "what he did to America and the world", it's only beginning. It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets any better.

  2. Congratulations on coming up with an original theme for more tired old Bush bashing.

  3. a person can forgive, but they cant forget.

  4. As far as whether we should forgive, the phrase, "seventy times seven", comes to mind.

  5. I say we should forigive him, but also I don't think we would turn to someone like him. we already learned our lessons on not to vote for people like him.

  6. what's a "good" christian? I haven't seen any. Bush should be thrown into Iraq with no weapons and no American help

  7. Of course you should forgive Bush and everyone else who sins against you. As the Bible says, "God will forgive you as you forgive others". So we should be quick to forgive and also learn from each situation. Unfortunately nobody gets to vote with hindsight, but we can use what we've learned and hopefully choose the best candidate with the knowledge and experience we've gained.

All that being said I am wondering how you define "follies"? Are these sins that require us to forgive him or are they honest mistakes or foolish mistakes or what? I think mistakes are vastly different than sin and our reaction to someones errors or mistakes should be more understanding than forgiveness....just my thoughts. If Bush has made mistakes or has sinned than our Congress has also in regards to the war, illegal aliens, etc. Bush didn't do all this by himself!
