Should we be in the parade?

my aunt is running for city court judge and she asked our whole family to be in the parade with her. i havent decided yet if i should? it would be a pretty long walk and it will be hott and i would have to push gracie in the stroller all day.. would we be better off just going and watching the parade, sitting under an umbrella so it isnt as hot, and wearing our campaign t-shirts?

We went to an outdoor mall the other weekend and it was extremely hot. Noah was in his stroller and we also put a blanket over the top to keep out the sun. Of course we had shops we could step into for a bit to help keep cool.

Use your best judgment. How long are you going to be walking for? Would it be possible to walk SOME of the parade and then step on out? Is there going to be any shade provided by trees, buildings, etc.?

In the end if it's going to be an extremely hot day and you will not be able to take breaks in between to cool off then I'd say you're better sitting on the side and watching.

I was just in a Parade on Fri. with my two little ones. It was a very long walk and quite exhausting, especially being pregnant. If your Aunt doesn't mind, then sitting it out wearing the shirts in support of her and waving a little flag is a great idea.
