Instead of worrying if McCain/Palin will make abortion illegal, or that Obama is going to take away our guns and force everyone to have nationalized healthcare, (AKA all the election year issues that never get legislation anyways) should be all be worried about the real issues of how to get out of Iraq, finish the War on Terror, jumpstart the economy, eliminate the national debt and budget deficit, fix the housing crisis, as well as our Addison to oil?

  1. I'm scared out of my mind about if Obama becomes president.

im going to be taxed like crazy.

  2. Yes, we should be concerned with real issues but liberals like you keep making up disgusting lies about Palin's personal life and slandering her daughter in your desperate attempts to distract us and keep us from seeing how evil and harmful Obama's plans for America really are.

  3. I am worried about all those issues, but thankfully, the Libertarian Party has a solution for all of them except abortion.

Guns- 2nd amendment is clear. Lift all restrictions and give americans their rights back.

Nationalized healthcare- No.  This is big govt and big spending.

War in Iraq-  Libertarian party has been opposed to it from the beginning.  Immediate withdrawal.

Terrorism- Stop meddling in international affairs that shouldn't involve us and anyone who does terrorize us, strike them hard and without mercy.

Economy- Libertarian party supports free market economy, true capitalism, that has shown to be the most stable and prospering economic system.

National Debt- Libertarian party proposes DRASTIC cuts in spending and corresponding cuts in taxation.

Housing crisis-  Get the federal govt COMPLETELY out of the housing market where it does not belong anyway.  This is not a role for federal govt.  Let the free market economy work.

Oil- Once again, let the free market economy work.  If private companies want oil and the market wants it, let them do what they need to.

Abortion- still divided in the Libertarian party.  About 1/2 want it criminalized as violation of babies rights and the other 1/2 probably don't support it ethically but believe it should not be criminalized because that would infringe on those parents rights.

Either way- The Libertarian parties platform actually makes sense and follows the principles of freedom and liberty.  The Republican and Democratic parties support socialism and therefore support totalitarianism.

  4. Yes,we should, the problem is we can't agree on what the" real issues" are.and if we could agree, would we be happy with the ways to overcome the things you said were real issues. What are you willing to give up?

  5. Yes, that is why I am wondering what makes Obama against increasing Nuclear, coal, natural gas, and drilling. All he seems to want to talk about is wind and Sun. I agree we need all forms of energy, but he seems to think we can run the country on sunshine and air. lol. Also, I am curious to see how he plans to get us off the dependence of foreign oil within 10 years, as he said in his Thursday night speech. At least McCain wants to do something NOW instead of wait for the technology to evolve. By then, it will be too late.
